Paia Fish Market

About Us

The Paʻia Fish Market is an iconic Maui restaurant located in the heart of historic Paʻia town. Its doors opened in 1989. The roots of this plantation-style community are deeply connected to the production and history of sugar cane. Paʻia served as a meeting place for the local factory workers and fishermen across the island. In recent decades, it has become a bustling town with a blend of boutiques and unique restaurants catering to tourists and locals alike.

At the Paʻia Fish Market, you can hang with locals, celebrities, and thrill-seeking surfers, who frequent Paʻia town and love its access to world-famous waves at Hoʻokipa and Peʻahi (Jaws). With the family style atmosphere, you can rub elbows and make friends with people from across the globe, as well as local surfers with sand between their toes.

Today, the Paʻia Fish Market continues to grow in popularity, with three locations on Maui and a new location in Waikiki. What keeps people coming back are the generous portions of fresh fish at reasonable prices. Our ʻOhana looks forward to serving you fresh fish with aloha.
