Membership is easy. Anyone who is a resident of Paia, a merchant of Paia, works in Paia, owns property in Paia, or rents in Paia can become a member of the Paia Community Association. For the next 12 months membership is FREE and has been initially funded by the Directors and Ambassadors. We are a nonprofit organization and if in the future there are fees you will be notified. Simply send us an email and your role in Paia and we will make you a member. We are trying to make membership so easy for you to join and we look forward to seeing you at our annual virtual meeting. All meetings will be done by Zoom until further notice.

Aloha and thank you for your interest in helping keep Paia the most charming little surf town on Maui. Each quarter the Board of Directors reviews all interested parties that would like to be an Ambassador to the Community. An Ambassador helps to bring fresh new ideas for Paia and to connect people that are interested in the town. Anyone who has a tie to Paia can apply and the Board uses its best judgement to select and approve a cross section from the community. If you want to be an Ambassador please email us and we will get back to you within 14 days. We are looking for a strong team to help meet the goals and objectives of our mission. 

Ambassadors are requested to meet quarterly on a Zoom call set up by the Board of Directors. 

Your free membership will keep you informed on Paia events and its future. If you are a landlord or a tenant/merchant your listing is FREE. Just let us now any changes to your directory information or new photos and we will change it out free of charge.

Be a voice as we help the town to be noticed on the internet and in publications.

We want to welcome both visitors and locals to our town and your membership helps to support the site and social media.

We are looking out for your interests and will be focused on working with the county and the state to improve permitting for small towns. The current county permitting processes are cumbersome and outdated. We are one group with a strong voice instead of just an individual. We want to streamline permitting to renovate and repair and preserve the unique character of the town. Membership will support this cause.

Be part of the voice of the future community plan of Paia. We are here to help communicate the interest of the Community in that process.

We are here to help work with the landowners and merchants to make Paia even more beautiful.

We are here to help make Paia safer. We will need to work on making improvements to the Parking lots, security, lighting, trash and other improvements.

Parking is a real problem. We need more. There are several new parking lots on the design and we are here to help support them coming together.

Paia is a charming town. But it takes innovative places for people to meet, to gather, to mingle like art shows, fashion shows, restaurants showcases. We will work to bring that to the town.

We are in a serious pandemic at the moment. We will find innovative ways to help support the diversified economy of the health of the town.
